Bosch KDCN Calibration
We access the Bosch EDC17 and EDC18 diesel ECUs via boot mode or OBD to remap fuel delivery, injection timing, and boost control. This gives us full control over the engine calibration.
DPF Solution Mapping
We adjust fuel dosing and exhaust temperature strategies to reduce DPF regeneration frequency while maintaining emission compliance where required. We keep the DPF functioning while improving performance.
Turbo Boost Optimisation
We recalibrate the turbo vanes and boost solenoid for faster spool and higher peak boost without exceeding OEM safety limits. The result is punchy low end torque and solid top end power.
Common Questions
Is it safe for my DPF?+
We include DPF solution mapping as standard. The calibration is tuned to prevent excessive regeneration cycles while keeping your DPF functioning properly. Most clients have no issues with emissions testing.
Will it affect my fuel consumption?+
Most clients see a small improvement in fuel efficiency, particularly on highways. The optimised combustion and better torque delivery means less throttle input needed for cruising.
Will my dealer know the car is tuned?+
Modern diesel ECUs log tune history. We are upfront about this. Most diesel owners outside factory warranty proceed without concern. If warranty is a priority, discuss this with us first.
What diesel vehicles do you tune?+
