The Process
Every vehicle follows our proven calibration workflow.
Diagnostics
We connect to your vehicle OBD-II port and read the original ECU file, checking for any existing fault codes, freeze frame data, and fuel trims. This establishes our baseline before any modification.
Custom Calibration
We build a custom map based on your specific vehicle using our proven strategies for BMW B48/B58, Audi EA888 Gen 3/4, VW MQB, and Mercedes M139/M260 platforms. Every map is written from scratch, not a generic file.
Data Logging
We log sensor data across the entire rev range under load, monitoring air/fuel ratio, exhaust gas temperatures, boost pressure, and knock correction to ensure everything operates within safe parameters.
Road Test
We take the car for a drive to verify throttle response, boost behaviour, and overall driveability meet our standards. We test in multiple conditions to ensure the calibration is solid in the real world, not just on a single run.

Common Questions
Will Stage 1 void my warranty?+
A tune can be detected by dealers and may affect warranty claims for engine and drivetrain components. We are upfront about this risk. Many owners outside the factory warranty period choose to proceed. If your vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty, we recommend discussing options with your dealer first.
Can I still take my car to the dealer for service?+
Yes. The car runs normally and passes emissions testing in most states. You can service at any dealer or independent workshop. We recommend changing oil every 5,000-8,000km on a tuned car using quality synthetic to maintain optimal engine health.
Do I need to use premium fuel?+
We optimise our calibrations for 98RON premium unleaded for best results. The car will run fine on 95RON but the full performance potential is realised with higher octane. Using lower octane can result in reduced power and increased knock correction.
Can the tune be removed?+
Yes. We keep the original file on our secure servers. If needed, we can reflash back to stock at no cost. This is useful if you are selling the car or need to return to dealer for warranty work.
How long does the tune take?+
A typical Stage 1 tune takes between 2 to 4 hours. This includes diagnostics, file reading, custom calibration upload, precision data logging, and road testing. We take our time because rushing a tune is not how we work.
